OUR LADY’S CATHEDRAL: the gem to Antwerp’s crown

Do we really have to introduce this building? A visit to Antwerp without the cathedral is unimaginable! Inside Antwerp cathedral you will no doubt be moved.

Antwerp Cathedral is the largest Gothic church in the Low Countries. The 123m tall northern spire, stone lacework, has been dominating the Antwerp skyline for centuries.

When sun-drenched this Gothic church is splendid and it is rightly the pride of the city. You can admire the divine architecture and inside you stroll in a paradise for art-lovers: colourful stained glass windows, a magnificent pulpit, the finely carved choir stalls, masterpieces of the Antwerp school of painting, including 4 wonderful works by P.P Rubens, among which the famous ‘Raising of the Cross’ and ‘Descent from the Cross’.
