BAROQUE WALK: discover the baroque city of the Low Countries

In Antwerp baroque isn’t only an art, it’s also a lifestyle, a way of living. Just  like baroque, the true Antwerpian is dynamic, generous, exuberant and all but modest.

The walk takes you along many historical baroque sites. The imposing façades, the stunning majestic gates and the lavishly decorated statues are not only true gems, they are also part of a fascinating history with plenty of anecdotes. You will quickly discover that Rubens, the undisputable master of baroque, continues to inspire present-day artists.

The walk takes you along a series of “murals”, gigantic and colourful mural paintings in which historical baroque and hip street art meet.
