Antwerpians are rightly proud that their city was the only one in Belgium to have organised the Olympic GamesThis happened in 1920.

During this STORYTELLING TOUR you will learn more about:

  • the history of the games’ origin
  • the evolution of the games throughout the centuries
  • the 18 names of streets that still refer to disciplines of sport

All this will be peppered with anecdotes of former times and now, and illustrated with images (where possible).

On the utility boxes there are still posters referring to the Antwerp Olympics.
